Discover the origin of the Tergi River – Truso valley which is about 17 km south of Stepantsminda. The Truso valley is stuffed with ancient towers, discarded villages and weird mineral phenomena, particularly the Abano mineral lake that bubbles with co2. Anybody above the age of 5 can raft on the River Tergi. However, the children have to be accompanied by a parent. The 8-km long rafting route begins from the village of Okrokana and follows the attractive Truso valley and ends in the village of Kobi. Rafting trip duration will be an hour. The route is of moderate difficulty, and rafting on it is suitable for individuals with less experience.

Best time to visit: MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER.
